WHY WE’RE WATCHING HIM

In the mornings, Kevin Alejandro rides the waves around L.A., but not without his Casio. “I surf in a G-Shock ,” he explains, relying on “something that’s sturdy, and that can take a beating. It’s really sleek looking; it feels tough.” He’s a self-proclaimed jeans-and-T-shirt kind of guy, and “very much a watch-wearer,” which may have kept him on time to set every day in his new role as “Jesus Velasquez” on Season 3 of HBO’s hit series, True Blood, premiering June 13 at 9/8C. “It was a lot of fun to be a part of something that I really got into watching,” reminisces Kevin. “It was a new experience for me, and I was surrounded by a great group of actors.”
